FMPS – BIOTECK Team attended the Lebanese Army Forces Healthcare Congress at the Hilton Habtoor Hotel, on the 16th of February 2023.
The LAF Healthcare Congress aims to share the army experience as a working model for the Lebanese Healthcare System. It is an opportunity to highlight the role of cooperation between military health services and civilian organizations at the national level, exchange scientific information, enhance mutual knowledge, address the Lebanese Health Sector Reforms, and provide clearer insights to better serve the Lebanese Citizens.
The LAF Command strongly endorses this initiative and is convinced of the timeliness and wisdom of its objectives. The proposed topics for discussion are as follows:
- Shed light on the experiences of the Lebanese Military healthcare system, its successes, and challenges.
- Highlight the capabilities of the Lebanese Military healthcare system during the crises and its vision for the near future.
- Tackle the issue of potential reforms to be taken by the public and private sectors to ensure access and sustainability of service provisions during the current crisis and beyond.
The program includes presentations of the stakeholders in the sector explaining their
perspectives and their plan of action to mitigate the different obstacles, especially in times of crisis.
